Dear Customers,
Thank you very much for your continued support of FUJI CARD SHOP. We would like to share an important update regarding shipments to the United States.
๐ Background: New U.S. Import Rules
As of August 29, 2025, President Trump has suspended the de minimis rule that previously allowed imports under USD 800 per day to be duty-free.
โ ๏ธ From this date forward, all shipments from Japan to the U.S. are subject to a 15% tariff, no matter the order value.
๐ฆ In addition, major couriers such as FedEx, DHL, and UPS are now charging handling fees for processing these tariffs.
๐ How We Handled It Before
Until now, FUJI CARD SHOP limited U.S. orders to USD 800 or less so that customers could benefit from the duty-free allowance. โ This system worked well to minimize unexpected costs.
Our New Policy
To adapt to the new rules, we have updated our process:
- ๐ณ 15% tariff will be collected in advance at checkout.
- ๐ Courier handling fees are already reflected in our shipping rates.
โจ With this change, you will not face surprise charges upon delivery, and your package will not be delayed for additional payments.
What This Means for You
- The total you pay at checkout (products + shipping + 15% tariff) covers all costs.
- No additional bills from couriers when your order arrives.
- You can shop with confidence, knowing that everything is prepaid.
Final Note
We truly appreciate your understanding as we adjust to these changes. Our goal is to make your shopping experience smooth, transparent, and worry-free.
If you have any questions, please reach out through our Contact Page or by email.
Thank you again for your trust and support.
Sincerely,
